- YOUR FIRST STEPS

Starting Therapy, One Conversation at a Time

You don’t need the perfect words or a clear plan before reaching out. We’ll begin with where you are and take time to understand what brings you to therapy.

Find a Time

Visit my Headway profile to view available appointments and choose a session that works for you.

Share at Your Pace

Our first session is an introduction. We’ll discuss what brought you in and what you hope to explore.

Shape Your Goals

Together, we’ll identify priorities and talk through next steps, leaving room for your needs to change along the way.

- CARE THAT RESPECTS YOU

Your Experiences Belong in the Conversation

Therapy should make room for your whole story. My approach welcomes conversations about Black identity, family expectations, cultural experiences, and everyday life—without assuming what any of those mean to you.

Compassionate Listening

Space to speak openly, ask questions, and explore your feelings without judgment or pressure to share before you’re ready.

Practical Support

I draw on approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to help you explore patterns and practice useful skills.

Collaborative Goals

Your priorities guide our work. We’ll discuss what you want from therapy and shape our sessions around those goals.

Cultural Understanding

Your background and lived experiences matter. We can explore how culture, identity, and community influence your well-being and relationships.

Make Room for Yourself

You deserve time to focus on how you’re feeling and what you need. When you’re ready, take the first step toward a conversation centered on you.
